About Haldun
Let’s face it, they’re currently enough reasons why you’re seeking therapy:
you most likely came across more horrendous news (-> Weltschmerz), worry hence about your future or that of your kids, how you’re meant to be on top of your bills, or how to finally get a better grip on your relationship(s).
You might hence also worry about your social media/porn usage/doom scrolling, knowing it isn’t doing you any good yet struggle to switch off FB, Insta, AI/ChatBots (-> brain rot).
Maybe you wondered if you’re on the spectrum or if it’s ADHD, what it means these days to be a bloke (-> toxic masculinity, manosphere), or you’re unsure how you’d really be more your authentic self towards you, the world and the people in it.
You're welcome either way, whatever brought you here.
My background…
Born in Germany to muslim Turkish parents, a diagnosis of depression aged 12, of autism aged 40, an active Leatherman in the kink and Heavy Metal scene, more than 12 years of experience as a Person-Centred/Integrative therapist (Buddhist principles, neuroscience) with an NCPS accreditation and two years’ study of Psychology.
What’s key…
Relationships: however you want to relate towards yourself or to others. Be they within families, colleagues, LGBT+, BDSM/kink-related, polyamorous or obstacles you feel due to your conservative cultural/religious upbringing.
Or you’ve reasons to believe your parents lacked from the start attention, love and nurture (-> absent fathers, sadly a running theme in my work).
What we’ll do together…
Now being German I don't do happy. But I do coping skills*
Together, we’ll develop those, supported by homework (bit patronising, but it works). My therapy space here in East London (and online) is also your confidential safe space, no judging, no pathologizing.
And for you: no more beating yourself up! You have the right to fuck up. You’re a Mensch, a fallible human being. This is how we learn: we make mistakes, learn, then crack on. We’ll focus on the learning.
Key areas in my work:
Relationships and Identity: LGBTQ+, BDSM/kink, polyamory, or dealing with a fatherless or restrictive upbringing
Mental health: anxiety, depression, stress/burn-out, eating disorders, addictions, people pleasing, perfectionism, procrastination, autism, ADHD, OCD, social media/AI usage, trauma, victims of narcissistic abuse
Cross cultural/-religious therapy: your parents’ strict cultural/religious upbringing clash with what you’d rather explore e.g. your atheist/artistic/kinky, spiritual self
Men: however you’d like to define your masculinity and your relationship(s). Hence note, I also offer coaching for men: any questions on relationships, how to talk to wo/men, intimacy, sex, masculinity in 2026…
The Logistics…
I’m too aware what a financial commitment therapy is, I’m hence flexible with my fees, offer a free 30-minute consultation, also accept Aviva Health.
