MatchyMatch works with verified, English-speaking therapists wherever they are, as long as you can prove you are validated by a recognised professional body in your country. We already work with therapists registered with bodies like COPSI in Romania, and accept equivalents across Europe and further afield. Sessions are delivered online, in English.

First we check your paperwork: your registration with a recognised professional body, your professional indemnity insurance, and your legal practice setup. Once your documents check out, we have a short video call with every therapist we onboard - to meet you, confirm your details, and answer your questions. After that you sign our digital contract and connect your payouts, and you're ready to receive matched clients.

No. We accept the four main UK bodies - HCPC, BACP, BPS and UKCP - or an equivalent recognised professional body in your own country. What matters is that your registration is current and verifiable, you hold valid professional indemnity insurance, and you have a legal practice setup.
We invest in the marketing so you don't have to. Clients find MatchyMatch through search engines, AI assistants, our free psychology tests and our mental-health content, then we match them to the right therapist based on your expertise, approach and availability. You only see clients whose needs fit what you do - no cold outreach, no chasing leads.
Clients pay by card through the platform. Your payouts go straight to your own bank account via Stripe, on a regular schedule. Faster payouts are available on request - your payment processor's standard transfer fee applies.
Our commission is 25% of each session fee, and there are no monthly fees - you only pay when you have paying clients. When we introduce a client to you through MatchyMatch, that client is part of the platform: we ask you not to take them off-platform once matched. Our contract includes a confidentiality and non-circumvention clause. We pay for the marketing that brings them in; you do the great clinical work that keeps them.
As soon as your paperwork is verified, your video call is done, your contract is signed and your payouts are connected, your profile is live. From there, matched clients are introduced to you as suitable people sign up - each starts with a free 15-minute discovery call so you can both decide if it's a good fit.
Our goal is to let therapists focus on therapy. We handle the rest - finding clients, the initial conversation, payment processing, invoicing and customer support. There are no monthly fees and no lock-in: you only pay our commission when you have paying clients.
