We're hiring a Matchmaker

Help people find the right therapist, with warmth and clarity.

Remote-first
Flexible hours
Early-career

Our story

MatchyMatch started as a small project with a small team but a big vision: to blend technology with human care so we can connect people with the right therapists.

1200+
Therapy sessions
500+
Clients
100+
Approved therapists

We offer real, vetted matches plus a 15-minute discovery call so we can see whether the relationship "clicks". We're still small, but growing fast, and we're looking for people to help us transform how people in the UK access therapy.

We're open to new ideas! If you have other skills or ideas for different roles, we'd love to hear them. We value initiative and proactive thinking on our team.

The role in short

You're the bridge between people and therapists: you understand the need, pick the right options, set up the first meeting, and make sure everything flows warmly, clearly and discreetly.

What we're looking for

You're studying Psychology at university (or a related field: Social work, Education studies, Cognitive science, etc.).

Previous experience (volunteering, HR, customer care, student projects) is a plus, not a requirement.

Remote-first: you have a laptop, a phone, a good internet connection, and you're comfortable speaking with clients by phone or message.

Flexible hours. Early-career or student profile.

What you'll do (in short)

Listen and clarify

You read requests and ask 2 to 3 well-judged questions.

Coordinate the discovery call

You confirm details, set expectations, and keep the conversation on track.

Match with care

You pick vetted therapists (style, specialism, budget, availability).

Bring in new therapists

You help onboard new therapists onto the platform.

Who you are

You're empathetic and attentive to nuance, you write and speak clearly, you communicate transparently, you work in a structured way, and you take ownership. Impeccable English; other languages are a bonus. You don't need to be a psychologist, but it matters that you know how to ask the right questions.

What we offer

Training in the MatchyMatch method and access to a carefully selected network of therapists.

Real impact in people's lives.

A healthy team: clear feedback, support, a balanced pace.

Flexibility (remote, adaptable schedule).

Commission for every client you help, plus commission from the sessions of the therapists you bring on.

Pay structure

Trial period: 3 months to get to know each other

Transparent system: All work is tracked carefully

Commission-based earnings: You earn for every client helped and from the sessions of the therapists you bring onto the platform

No minimum salary: Earnings depend directly on performance and commitment

What success looks like after the first 3 months

You notice the gratitude and appreciation of the people you interact with every day. You get a glimpse into their inner world and feel the deep satisfaction of the moments when someone tells you "I felt understood". At the same time, you get to meet and work with a diverse range of therapists who value your work and the way you build trusting relationships.

Alongside the impact you create for others, you also experience steady personal growth; you learn, you refine your communication skills, and you discover new perspectives. You also expand your professional network, gaining valuable connections and genuine contacts that can support your path ahead.
